     Doctor O's Monkey Masher is a fast paced classic arcade style game that pits you (as Monkey Mark) against the monkey mashing crushers of Doctor O's diabolical machine.  To survive you must guide Monkey Mark through hundreds of beautifully rendered levels (divided into three difficulty stages) filled with dangerous mashers that change in speed, direction, and orientation.

     Doctor O's Monkey masher is an original game based on fast pattern recognition and quick hand-eye coordination.

     Each level of Doctor O's Monkey Masher has eighteen pairs of near constantly moving mashers that completely fill the playing area.  Seventeen pairs of the mashers are aligned to crush Monkey Mark if he is caught in between them.  But the Eighteenth pair is misaligned and can not close properly.  The gap created by this misalignment is the only safe spot in the entire playing area that Monkey Marker can survive in when the rest of the masher close.

     Spotting the gap in the mashers is the key to surviving the monkey masher. What starts out relatively easy, quickly becomes difficult as the levels progress and the mashers constantly increase in speed. To make matters more difficult, the mashers will change directions and rotate around the playing field in the upper levels.

     Three different difficulty stage can be selected to start playing. Each one starts with the speed of the mashers slightly slower than the fastest speed of the mashers from the stage before it. But the speed is not the only change in the level of difficulty; the actual shape of the masher are different for each stage. Where in the easy stage the mashers are blocky in shape making the safety gap relatively easy to spot, the mashers in the other two stages are progressively narrower and shaped in a manner that makes the gap harder to locate.
